Karlskrona based Metal band forged as BASTARD FETTO in Storfors during 1997 and comprising vocalist Kraister, guitarist Chris, bassist "Dirt" Jon and drummer Jöva. That band folded in mid 1998 and the musicians relocated to Karlskoga, Kraister and Chris recruiting the session services of Zwemp of MÖRDER to cut the first BOMBSTRIKE demo, featuring four originals plus a cover version of HIDDEN INDUSTRIAL's 'Ögon', entitled 'And The Silence' in February 1999. The band was re-shaped with the addition of bassist Lasse and drummer Mange for the group's inaugural live performance a six song demo, 'Tomorrow Hero', in August 1999.

January of 2002 found BOMBSTRIKE, with Zwemp back on drums, recording at Black Lounge Studios with Jonas Kjällgren of DELLAMORTE acting as producer. These sessions would be released as 'Kaos Och Djävulskap', featuring the KAAOS cover 'Uskonsota', that July by the Berlin based Yellow Dog Records. Touring to promote the record included gigs in Germany, Holland and the Czech Republic.

BOMBSTRIKE then acquired Fenok of Grind merchants SCURVY to cover bass as Mange switched to guitar. Further releases included the 7" single 'Livets Låga Slocknar', hosting the UUTUUS cover 'Vapaa Valtio', and a split outing shared with Canadians LEGION 666. In 2004 Mange was superseded by 'Bosse' Johan Wallin, a scene veteran of SCURVY, REPUGNANT and GENERAL SURGERY. Zwemp then exited and Fenok moved over to the drum stool to cover for live work. More changes had Bosse taking on guitar whilst Gurra (a.k.a Loggan) from REPUGNANT and SUBVISION handled bass. In March of 2005 tracks were recorded for an intended split release in alliance with ILLDÅD and Umeå's REIGN OF BOMBS through Wasted Sounds.

In 2009 Johan Wallin co-founded "Filth Rock n' Roll" band IRON LAMB, a Stockholm based act also featuring Grga Lindström, ex-REPUGNANT, Thomas Daun, of DISMEMBER, ex-REPUGNANT and ex-INSISION, plus Daniel Ekeroth, from TYRANT, ex-INSISION and ex-DELLAMORTE.
