Biography

HEMISFEAR, established in 1998, was a band project assembled by two KING DIAMOND musicians, guitarist Mike Wead (a.k.a. Micke Wickström) and bass player Sharlee D'Angelo (Petter Andreason), in union with HEXENHAUS guitarist Marco Nicosia and Tom Björn from MEMORY GARDEN and TARGET. Wead had association with HEXENHAUS, MEMENTO MORI and ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA whilst D'Angelo was also credited as a member of ILLWILL and WITCHERY. The group signed to Heathendoom Records.

In 1999 the band executed their interpretation of MERCYFUL FATE's 'Black Funeral', featured on 'The Unholy Sounds Of The Demon Bells - A Tribute To Mercyful Fate' collection issued via Poland's Still Dead Productions. HEMISFEAR recorded an album, but this was never released due to Wead and D'Angelo's commitments with promoting MERCYFUL FATE's '9' album.
