Despite their anglicised pseudonyms DECOLLATION are all Swedish natives rooted in Gothenburg. Bassist Charles Von Weissenberg (real name Tomas Johansson) is ex-CEREMONIAL OATH whilst drummer Chris Steele (real name Kristian Wåhlin) was previously with GROTESQUE and LIERS IN WAIT. Both Wåhlin and vocalist John Lesley (real name Johan Österberg) subsequently went on to Gothic-Electro outfit DIABOLIQUE. Wåhlin also goes under the pseudonym of Necrolord as cover artist for many Black Metal bands. DECOLLATION released the EP 'Cursed Lands', recorded at Sunlight Studios by producer Tomas Skogsberg in February 1992, during 1993 for the French label Listenable Records.
