ATOMVINTER

Biography

Gothenburg Punk / Death Metal band ATOMVINTER, founded in 1991, issued a self-titled 1995 album through Distortion Records. The group was created by vocalist / guitarist Andréaz, bassist Peter and GBG PUNX, E471 and HERSTORY drummer Christer. Subsequent additions saw the inclusion of guitarist Christian and drummer Joel. However, both these new musicians soon departed. In 1992 ATOMVINTER regrouped, shifting Andréaz to bass, drafting Micke on guitar and seeing Christer return on drums.

Following recording of the album the band pulled in new bassist Brink to record tracks for a 10" vinyl split effort shared with SVART SNȪ for Fäk Åff RäckÃ¥rds. Tracks were also included on the Fettvadd Records compilation 'Things That Make No Sense'. Another line-up change saw DISORGANISED's Peter employed on bass. In 2000 ATOMVINTER cut nine new tracks intended for a split release with US act RIOTOUS.
