TAETRE vocalist Jonas Linblad also goes under the stage surname of 'Linblood'. Linblad is also a member of Black Deathsters THORIUM. TAETRE's debut April 1998 album 'The Art' was produced by KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque. The 1999 album 'Out Of Emotional Disorder' includes a cover version of the ROLLING STONES classic 'Paint It Black'.

TAETRE toured as support to DISSECTION, LUCIFERION and DARK TRANQUILITY. In April of 2003 the band acted as guests to DEFLESHED on their 'Battle Royal' European and Scandinavian tour.

TAETRE commenced recording for their fourth full length album, entitled 'Psychopath', at Los Angered Recording Studios, working once again with producer Andy LaRocque. The band also donated their rendition of 'At The Gates' to the AT THE GATES tribute album, 'Slaughterous Souls - A Tribute to At The Gates' released in September through Drowned Scream Records.
