Biography

Amongst a number of Swedish Heavy Metal bands to have emerged in the post NWoBHM years in the early 80s. GLORY BELLS BAND acted as an early stepping stone for drummer Peter Udd, who later worked with YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, and, more significantly, guitarist Franco Santunione, who was to later join the ELECTRIC BOYS and subsequently teamed up with REPTILE SMILE.

Singer Göran 'Glory North' Nord (Edman) formed GLORY NORTH following the dissolving of GLORY BELLS BAND and this group actually recorded an album, but it was never released due to the record label going bust. The group subsequently evolved into GLORY.

2003 found former GLORY singer Göran Edman fronting his new act CROSSFADE. He would head up another new band in 2005, XSAVIOR for the 'Caleidoscope' album. A further Edman fronted venture was unveiled in spring 2006, GEFF being the Hard Rock construct involving guitarist Ralf Jedestedt, Also pitching in would be a rhythm section of former SILVER MOUNTAIN and SNAKE CHARMER bass player Pär Stadin and drummer Anders Johansson of HAMMERFALL and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN repute. In 2008 Edman vocalised on the JAYCE LANDBERG album 'Break The Spell'.
