BREJN DEDD was a late eighties, Finspång based Crossover Metal outfit. Three demos were issued, 'Brejn Dedd' and 'The Ugly Tape' in 1988 and 1989's 'Born Ugly'. The latter featured 16 songs all containing the word 'Ugly' in the title. The group's personnel would subsequently figure heavily on the international extreme music scene, comprising as it did of frontman Tony Särkkä, a.k.a. 'It' of ABRUPTUM, VONDUR, INCISION and OPHTHALAMIA, guitarist Michael Bohlin, bassist Christer Broms and drummer DAN SWANÖ.

Swanö would make his impact primarily with EDGE OF SANITY but also featured heavily in NIGHTINGALE, BLOODBATH, GODSEND, ODYSSEY, INCISION, UNICORN and PAN.THY.MONIUM amongst many others. In 2004 Michael Bohlin and Tony Särkkä issued the Industrial Hard Rock project album 'Sinners Inc.' credited to 8TH SIN.
