Biography
COMMANDER is a retro-Heavy Metal haining from Gothenburg and founded in October of 2000. The band unashamedly promote the virtues of such classic Metal bands as JUDAS PRIEST and SAXON, strengthening their credentials with song titles such as 'Metal Rockers' and 'Denim Knights'. COMMANDER put in supports to ENTOMBED and HUMAN RACE before cutting their opening four song demo 'Metal Rockers' at Golden Shower Recordings. A second offering, 'Kicks The Hell Out Of You', included four live tracks recorded for radio at the Heden Göteborgskalaset in August of 2001 supporting IN FLAMES and THE HAUNTED. Subsequent concerts had COMMANDER opening for DEMON and their heroes SAXON.
Morgan 'Maleman' Lawbreaker took over from Arnie Muscles for the third demo, 2002's 'Rock Mission'.
