Biography

The three Nikolausson brothers, vocalist / bassist Bosse, guitarist Göran and drummer Janne, formed Christian AOR Rock act CHARIZMA in 1981 and the band concentrated mainly on touring former Eastern Bloc countries. Consequently, the album, 'Rockin' The World Together', has to date only seen a Russian release on the state Melodiya label, whilst the 1989 single 'Join Hands' has only surfaced in Estonia.

The November 2003 single 'Where Do You Go?' reached number 13 in the national Swedish charts whilst the August follow up, 'Waiting (Here For You)', fared even better at number 3. CHARIZMA renewed their ties to Estonia in a strange fashion by recording the 2004 power ballad 'I Give You A Mountain', composed by Henrik Sethsson and producer Stig Lindell, for the Baltic country's bid for the Eurovision song contest. CHARIZMA came 5th in the competition.
