Glamsters CANDY ROXX actually started life under the more lewd title of RANDY COXX. The songs on the first single, 1983's 'Signal', are written by then EASY ACTION members Kee Marcello and Peo Thyren. Following the 'Sex And Leather' single bassist Rex Lugar Gisslen left to join SHANGHAI, making way for Randy Johansen (real name Mats Johansson), while guitarist Mats Rio Ingwall also departed in favour of Pat Raven (real name Tord-Martin Pettersson). Sword Records released the EP 'Sex And Leather' in 1984.

CANDY ROXX actually scored a deal with English label Music For Nations but the recordings remain unreleased. Vocalist Max Newman (real name Magnus Brunzell) later formed NIOLIV, then BAN-ZAI.
