Biography

During 2005 TAD MOROSE singer Urban Breed cut a debut album, 'Nosferatu' for the Metal Heaven label, with Bollnäs based project band BLOODBOUND featuring bassist Fredrik Bergh of STREET TALK. The project had been assembled in mid 2004 by Bergh together with ex-STREET TALK guitarist Tomas Olsson and drummer Oskar Belin. Ambitiously, 'Nosferatu' was recorded with each track covering over one hundred channels. The album saw issue in December 2005 in Japan through the Avalon Marquee label. The following February 'Nosferatu' was granted a European release on the Metal Heaven label.

BLOODBOUND made their debut live appearance on April 22nd 2006 at a "secret" location near to the band's hometown of Bollnäs, this invitation only event being restricted to 200 tickets being filmed for DVD issue. Subsequent high profile live appearances included the 'Gothenburg Metal' festival in April and the 'AlingsÃ¥s HÃ¥rdrocksfestival' on May 6th. Newly installed would be rhythm guitarist Markus Albertson, BALTIMOORE bass player Jörgen Andersson and drummer the MORGANA LEFAY credited Pelle Åkerlind.

Urban Breed quit BLOODBOUND in August in somewhat acrimonious circumstances. By mid September the group had announced the recruitment of new singer Kristian Andrén, scene veteran citing credits with MEMENTO MORI, WUTHERING HEIGHTS, DEAD END WORLD, STREET TALK and TAD MOROSE. BLOODBOUND cut new album tracks in December.

The band was re-shaped again in March 2007 when they announced the addition of German vocalist MICHAEL BORMANN, a seasoned veteran of such acts as JADED HEART, BONFIRE, JÜRGEN BLACKMORE, THE SYGNET, SILENT FORCE and RAIN. A new album, 'Book Of The Dead', was soon underway.

BLOODBOUND returned in 2009 with the album 'Tabula Rasa', first seeing release in Japan on 25th March by Avalon Marquee.
