Noted Swedish guitar instrumentalist. BENNY JANSSON's 2002 offering 'Save The World' featured guests vocalist Goran Edman of GLORY and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN repute and the highly respected keyboard player Jens Johansson of YNGWIE MALMSTEEN's band and STRATOVARIUS.

The guitarist's early credits include TWO ROCKS, RACKATEER, JOHANSSON BROTHERS and SNAKE CHARMER. Jansson, along with his vocalist brother Björn, had earlier formed the melodic Rock act MINDCRIME, cutting an unreleased album for the Montezuma label in the early 1990s. The siblings resurrected this creative union under the new guise of TEARS OF ANGER in 2003, working alongside the rhythm section of THERION / MIND'S EYE bassist Johan Niemman and MIND'S EYE drummer Daniel Flores. Once more working with Flores, the guitarist cut a rendition of 'Wild Frontier' for inclusion on the 2004 GARY MOORE tribute album 'Give Us Moore'. Jansson united with Göran Edman for the XSAVIOR project band and the 2005 album 'Caleidoscope'.

Yet another collaborative project in 2006 had Benny Jansson working on a debut album for classically trained, Raven haired singer MIJA. In 2006 Jansson joined up with Björn Jansson once again and former HELLOWEEN and MASTERPLAN drummer Uli Kusch to forge RIDE THE SKY.
