Power Metal act VALHALLA was founded as a trio of vocalist and guitarist Ignacio 'Jevo' Garamendi, bassist Iván Valdemoros and second guitarist Xabier Coto in 1997. The line up soon shifted shape with Mikel Martinez supplanting Coto, this unit issuing the 'Guardians Of Metal' demo. In the spring of 1999 vocalist Javi 'Paxta' Navarro was enrolled, taking the pressure off Garamendi.

VALHALLA debuted with the 'Beyond The Underworld' album through Zero Records although by this stage Valdemoros had decamped, being replaced by Jose 'Txeki' Felix. In 2004 the group committed their take on 'Dios Del Rock' for the Red Dragon album 'Despertando Al Innombrable' in honour of veteran Spanish act PANZER.
