A reputable Spanish Hard Rock act. MURO would upon formation be fronted by singer Tony, but upon his departure to BLUE BLOOD the ex-BLACK WIDOW man Silverio 'Silver' Solórzano stepped in, fronting the band for every album to date. Also at this juncture Julio 'Julito' Rico came onboard as bassist. The group, adopting a traditional leather n' studs approach was rounded out by guitarist Largo and drummer Juan Ramón 'Lapi' Ruiz.

MURO's Spring 1987 live album 'Acero Y Sangre', which closed out with a cover of ACCEPT's 'Fast As A Shark', was produced by the OBUS pairing of Juan Luis Serrano and Fernando Sánchez. The following studio album 'Telón De Acero' would be generally regarded as the band's peak of creativity. The 1989 English language album 'Mutant Hunter' sported a cover version of STEPPENWOLF's seminal 'Born To Be Wild'. However, drummer Lapii bowed out afterward, being replaced by Joaquín 'El Niño' Arellano. MURO would fold after the 1991 album 'Pacto De Sangre'. Solórzano duly founded VENGANZA in union with two ex-OBUS players Fernando Sánchez and Juan Luis Serrano, this band issuing two albums.

Vocalist Silverio Solórzano and drummer Ivan Manzano re-assembled the band during 1996, enlisting POSTMORTEM and VENGANZA guitarist Jose Manuel Rodriguez, second guitarist Ángel and bassist Francisco 'Paco' Gómez . Subsequently HAREM's Javier Morales took Jose's place as the guitarist decamped to found CRIENIUM and Julito Rico came in on bass. The group signed to Pies Compañía Discográfica for the Manolo Arias produced comeback 'Peligro Inminente' record. Guests in the studio included the MAGO DE OZ duo vocalist José and drummer Txus and ex-MURO and SARATOGA man Joaquín Arellano. Once the album was released Miguel 'El Patillas” Hernanz of CRIENIUM supplanted Javi on guitar.

In 2000, upfront of recording a brand new studio album 'Corazón De Metal' MURO contributed a version of 'Electric Eye' to a JUDAS PRIEST tribute album. Contributing choral backing vocals to 'Corazón De Metal' would be SABATAN's Antonio Cerezuela, CRIENIUM's David Toledano and Cecilio Sanchez of ANKHARA. CRIENIUM's Miguel 'El Patillas' Hernanz had joined the band on guitar at this stage. The album contained a cover rendition of Y&T's 'Forever', sung in Spanish as 'Por Siempre'.

Guitarist Javier Morales founded Gothic Rock outfit ENUMA ELISH during 2003.
