Móstoles, Madrid based Death Metal band ATSPHEAR was created during 2001 but stablised its line-up in May 2003 counting singer Rafael Fernández Melero, guitarists Sergio Lara Gonzalez and Manuel Probanza, bassist Carlos Delgado Peinado with Víctor Hernández on drums. The original band unit had been created under the title DARK CRYSTAL by Sergio Lara Gonzalez, ex-NIGHTFALL members Manuel Probanza, Víctor Hernández and Alberto. Carlos Delgado Peinado, of AKALLABETH, joined in February 2002 whilst Rafael Fernández Melero enrolled in May 2003. ATSPHEAR released the demo 'Atmosphere X', produced by Javier Rubio and recorded at Rock Soul studios in Madrid, in January 2004.

Zero Records released the album 'New Line System' in May 2005. These sessions, again produced by Javier Rubio, were laid down at Korsakov Studies. A promotional video for the song 'Atmosphere X' was directed by Carlos Delgado.
