Madrid's, Gothic flavoured Hard Rock act ENUMA ELISH, titled after the ancient Sumerian creation myth, was formulated during 2003 by singer Sara de Andrés and former MURO and HAREM guitarist Javier Morales. The founding duo would be joined by bassist Fede Agudo, a scene veteran of EL ENEMIGO EN CASA and MITAD OSCURA, together with drummer Karim Benaissa, ex-SILVER FIST and CRIENIUM. Concerts in the Spring of 2003 preceded recording of the opening demo 'Live Forever'.

Benaissa opted out in mid 2004, being superseded by the BETHESDA credited Daniel Aseijas. Fresh demos would be recorded in early 2005.
