Biography

A Coruña, Galicia based Gothic Doom act founded in June of 2000. Initially taking a Black Metal direction the band delivered their opening demo 'Raven's Blood' in May of the following year. This cassette featured cover versions of TIAMAT's 'Dust Is Our Fare', ANATHEMA's 'Sleepless' and CRADLE OF FILTH's 'Summer Dying Fast'. Their September 2003 offering, 'Bitter End', witnessed a change of tack to a more Doom Metal slant. The title track gained extra exposure for DARK EMBRACE by its inclusion on the 'Chariots Arrive Again Vol. 2' compilation issued by Foreshadow Productions.

Guitarist Jaime Allegue opted out in October of 2003, at first being superseded by Alejandro Varela of RELATIVE SILENCE. Finding a permanent guitarist, Caesar Dark Emperor, from the band CHAOS SYMMETRY, was added to the ranks in March 2004. The group partnered with Spanish band AGATHODAIMON for Iberian concerts in November 2006. That same month they signed to German label Armageddon Music.

The album 'The Rebirth Of Darkness' was recorded at Stage One studios in Borgentreich, Germany with producer Andy Classen. Sessioning on drums would be Moritz Neuner, an in demand veteran of acts such as ST. LUCIFER, SHADOWCAST, DARKWELL, GRAVEWORM, ABIGOR, EVENFALL, DORNENREICH, SIEGFRIED, ANGRY ANGELS, NECROLOGY, KOROVA, ATROCITY and LEAVES' EYES.
