Cape Town Gothic Rock act FETISH became the first domestic signing for Virgin South Africa in 1998. The inaugural FETISH product, a self financed eponymous album wrapped in tie-dyed, gold-embossed material, would be limited to 1000 copies. Swapping drummer Croc-E Moses for the BENGUELA and URBAN CREEP credited Ross Campbell the group scored their major deal. Their EP, 'Shade Of A Ghost', garnered healthy press reviews whilst the 1999 album 'So Many Prophets' established the band on the European underground.
