SICULICIDIUM

Biography

Transylvanian Black Doom project titled after a massacre of January of 1764 when Habsburg mercenaries slaughtered the villagers of Székely, burying the victims in a mass grave entitled Vészhalom ("Hill of death"). SICULICIDIUM, following an opening demo 'demo Transylvanian Resistance' in November 2003, shared a split cassette entitled 'Splitorment' with Hungarian act FUNEBRE through Mirgilus Siculorum Records. This session saw the introduction of drummer Khrul, a scene veteran of such acts as FUNEBRE, RAVENSHADES and ATER TENEBRAE. Native Pride Productions re-issued 'Transylvanian Resistance' in 2004 in a limited edition of 150. This version included a cover version of BARATHRUM's 'Vampire'.

In May 2006 SICULICIDIUM contracted with Hungary's Native Pride Production for an EP, limited to 500 copies, entitled 'Lélekösvény'.
