One of the more lauded names on the Black Metal scene. The heavily keyboard driven debut 'Aeons Of Magick' album, released on Samoth of EMPEROR's Nocturnal Art Productions label, has received almost universally glowing reviews. Lisbon based SIRIUS, fronted by Lord Gornoth, was created by former TWILIGHT members guitarist Draconiis and the TWILIGHT pairing of Raven and the TE DEUM credited drummer Vukodlack (a.k.a. Daniel Cardoso). The act announced their arrival with the demo 'The Eclipse (the Summons Of The Warriors Of Armageddon)'. Guitarist Barzh and drummer Flame were added in October of 1998 and the band introduced the STORM LEGION and AGRENOST credited Ainvar Ara as guitarist in 1999. Changes resulted in the opting out by Raven in 1999, followed by Barzh the following year. Ex-SIRIUS members vocalist 'Sethlad' (a.k.a. André) and drummer 'Hammer V' (Daniel Cardoso) forged ARCANE WISDOM.

SIRIUS signed to the Nuclear Blast label in the Autumn of 2001, shifting away from their Black Metal roots and adopting a more experimental "modern" electro-industrial stance for the 'Spectral Transition- Dimension Sirius' opus. Vukodlack had backed out in 2002 to make way for 'CA-2', in actuality Cato Bekkevold, of RED HARVEST, DEMONIC and ENSLAVED repute, and keyboard man 'LRZ' (Lars Sørensen) of RED HARVEST and MEZZERSCHMITT. Ainvar Ara also exited.

In May 2005 it would be learned Daniel Cardoso, in collaboration with ULVER mentor Garm (a.k.a. Kristoffer G. Rygg) and what were described as "noble assistants" had activated Heavy rock project SINDROME, cutting a debut album 'A Killer View'. The same pair subsequently fired up the "Heavy Groove Rock" Stoner styled outfit HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM, signing to The End Records to release debut album 'Murder Nature' in April 2006.
