MORTE INCANDESCENTE was founded as a collaboration between CORPUS CHRISTII and GENOCIDE KOMMANDO vocalist Nocturnus Horrendus and Vulturius of FLAGELLUM DEI. Both musicians also cite credits with STORM LEGION whilst Vulturius also has a tradition with FLAMMA AETERNA.

The four song 'Ultimatum' tape preceded the 2003 debut album '"... Your Funeral' for Elegy Records. Mysanthropia Productions from Brazil issued the album in cassette form, restricting this production to just 111 copies. Following completion of the record Vulturius opted out to concentrate on his other act IRAE. With this venture he released the 2003 cassette 'Our Putrefacted Essence', actually a shared product split with COLDNESS, another solo endeavour of Nocturnus Horrendus. IRAE also put out the 'Spreading The Wrath Of Satan' demo through Spit On The Cross Productions.

MORTE INCANDESCENTE, reduced down to a solo concern of Nocturnus Horrendus with session players, projected a split album released to be shared with SATANIC WARMASTER through Nightmare Productions as well as a split release in union with KRIEG through Goatwax Records. The band performed at the April 2004 Barroselas 'Steel Warriors Rebellion' festival.
