Biography

STILLBORN, a Mielec based blasphemous Death Metal band dating to 1997, debuted in the Spring of 1999 with the demo 'Mirrormaze'. The group's initial formation counted singer Lukasz Marchewka, guitarist Tomasz Ziêba, former ECLYPSE bass player Andrzej Tabor and drummer Rafal Rzany. The second session 'Die In Torment 666' followed in mid 2001. Early 2004 found the band, having seen Marchewka decamp and Tomasz taking over lead vocals, putting out a further demo, 'Announcement Of Forthcoming Desecration' and sharing a split release with AZARATH billed 'Death Monsters' through Time Before Time Records. STILLBORN signed to Pagan Records for a debut album entitled 'Satanas El Grande'. This set of songs would include a cover version of ROTTING CHRIST's 'The Sign Of Evil Existence'. Rzany would be replaced on drums by Lukasz Urbanek of ORTANK and RAVISHED FLESH.
