Biography

Norwegian GRENJAR was initially known as URANIUM upon their formation in 1998. With the incorporation of lead singer Hevn a name change to MÖRKMYR was adopted. However, when bass player Audun broke ranks a further title change to THE CARNAGE occurred, with Udeth filling in on bass. Guitarist Stian then was next to leave and E. Hammer took on rhythm guitar responsibilities albeit briefly. Finally this turmoil settled somewhat as the band unit opted for yet another name switch to GRENJAR, translating as "One who yells".
