Solo albums project by EMPEROR's live keyboard player Charmand Grimloch, a resident of Tønsberg. A 1994 TARTAROS demo, 'The Heritage From The Past', preceded the first April 1997 EP 'The Grand Psychotic Castle'. This album would see a 1999 re-release adding two extra tracks 'Into The Faculty Of Wonderful Secrets' and 'Letzidah's Hypnotic Children Waltz'. Session drums came from Trym Torson (a.k.a. Kai Johnny Mosaker) of EMPEROR, ENSLAVED, ZYKLON, IMPERIUM, CEREMONY, SHADOW SEASON, and PAGANIZE repute. That September TARTAROS issued 'The Red Jewel' through Necropolis Records.
