In early 2007 Espen Lien was found to be involved with TRINACRIA, initiated by guitarist Ivar Bjørnson from ENSLAVED along with vocalist Maja S. K. Ratje and Hild S. Tafjord, both from FE-MAIL, plus singer Grutle Kjellson of ENSLAVED, guitarist Arve Isdal (a.k.a. 'Ice Dale'), of ENSLAVED, BOURBON FLAME and AUDREY HORNE and drummer Iver Sandøy, of MANNGARD, EMMERHOFF & THE MELANCHOLY BABIES.
