Biography

Party Rockers SHA-BOOM covered SWEET's 'Fox On The Run' for their 1988 debut 'R.O.C.K'. SWEET's Andy Scott was also on hand to add some authenticity acting as producer. Scott also tackled production for the follow up, 1990's 'Let's Party', which included OLE EVENRUDE on backing vocals. Singer DAG FINN was often portrayed as a teen idol, this marketing often seeing the singer baring all in Scandinavian magazines. Finn's first act, at the age of fifteen, was the HANOI ROCKS inspired BANGKOK SUCKS.

With the demise of SHA-BOOM, Finn issued the solo album 'The Wonderful World Of Dag Finn' co-produced by Ole Evenrude and Andy Scott, in 1991. Guitars came courtesy of MOTT THE HOOPLE's Mick Ronson, Trond Holter, subsequently of WIG WAM, and TOMMY DENANDER with drums from Ole Petter Hansen of DREAM POLICE and SHA-BOOM's Øystein Andersen.

Bassist Peo Thyrén (a.k.a, Per-Olaf Tyrone), also citing prior credits with KEE & ALEX and EASY ACTION, turned up in 1998 as a member of B.I.G. Subsequently Øystein 'Bobby' Andersen formed Glam band WIG WAM in 2001.

In late 2005 Peo Thyrén re-united with his former EASY ACTION colleague guitarist KEE MARCELLO (a.k.a. Kjell Lövbom), accompanied by Martin Borjesson on keyboards and Johan Junstrand on drums, to announce the formation of THE GLITTER TWINS.

SHA-BOOM reunited for the March 2005 album 'The Race Is On'.
