Eide has an enviable tradition in the Norwegian extreme Metal scene citing membership of DIMMU BORGIR, DØDHEIMSGARD, VED BUENS ENDE, CADAVAR INC., AURA NOIR, ULVER and SATYRICON. During 2000 Eide founded Black-Jazz act VIRUS, working with his INFERNÖ bandmate drummer "Esso" (a.k.a. Einar Sjursø). The latter also having credits with BEYOND DAWN and LAMENTED SOULS. He also guests on FLEURETY's 2000 album 'Department Of Apocalyptic Affairs' and would join Pagan Folk act HAGALAZ' RUNEDANCE for their October 2000 tour of Germany.
