Biography

Oslo's "Doomsday Rock n' Roll" outfit CHROME DIVISION, whose motto is "Booze, Broads & Belsebub", were founded in 2004. The band actually comprised DIMMU BORGIR frontman Shagrath (a.k.a. Stian Thorensen), Lex Icon (Stian Arnesen), of THE KOVENANT, CARPE TENEBRUM, NOCTURNAL BREED and TROLL, bassist Björn Luna of ASHES TO ASHES, Eddie Guz of THE CARBURETORS, and Ricky Black. Taking over the drums from Lex Icon in August would be Tony White (a.k.a. Tony Kirkemo) of MINAS TIRITH.

New material would be recorded at Panzer Studio in Oslo in December 2005. The band inked a record deal with the German Nuclear Blast label in late January 2006 and the album 'Doomsday Rock n' Roll' was set for a US release in August 2006, entering the Norwegian charts at number 31.

Nuclear Blast released second opus 'Booze, Broads And Beelzebub', recorded at Studio Fredman, in August 2008. This set featured a cover version of ZZ TOP's 'Sharp Dressed Man'.
