Biography
Kristiansand Heavy Metal band WITCHCRAFT originated during 1981, founded by guitarist Tony Drozdjek and featuring female singer Heidi Arnesen. The 1982 rhythm section comprised Nico Gerrard on bass and drummer Geir Chr. Bøe. Guitarist Josten Olsen joined during 1984. In this formation the band cut the 'Jailhouse Tapes' demo. However, in the summer of 1985 WITCHCRAFT suffered a mass exodus as Olsen, Gerrard and Bøe decamped. The band regrouped with Per Holter Andersen as new vocalist, Bøe returning on drums and Bjørn Ole Rasch on keyboards to record the 1987 'Witchcraft' demo.
The WITCHCRAFT name was resurrected in 1993 with the demo '665 The Neighbor Of The Beast', recorded by Drozdjek and Bøe with studio guests Per Ragnar Holter Andersen, Tom Ellingsen, Roy Andersen, Erik Bjorvand, Harald Messel and Magne Winge. WITCHCRAFT resumed action once again in 2001.
