ABIOTIC is from Kopervik, formed in 1995 by guitarist John Espen Sagstad and drummer Jørn Folkedal as a METALLICA cover band but subsequently shifted toward Nu-Metal upon the induction of singer Thor Andreas Sjøen and bassist Erlend Hollund Hansen Lundberg during 1999. John Espen Sagstad has ties to both PANTHEON I and SARKOM.
