JOTUNSPOR, a Black Metal project announced in early 2006, was initiated by GORGOROTH bassist King ov Hell (a.k.a. Tom Cato Visnes) and ex-GORGOROTH drummer Kvitrafn (Einar Selvik), the latter also citing scene credentials with GORGOROTH, SIGFADER, DET HEDENSKE FOLK and BAK DE SYV FJELL.

A debut JOTUNSPOR album, 'Gleipnirs Smeder', was readied for release via Satanas Rex in Europe and Candlelight Records in North America. The same duo also forged trad Doom outfit SAHG in alliance with MANNGARD singer Olav Iversen and AUDREY HORNE guitar player Thomas Tofthagen. Kvitrafn joined DEAD TO THIS WORLD in March 2007.
