CORONA BOREALIS is the ancestral Folk project of Kristian Nordeide, medieval fiddle player Cathrine Bauck and AETURNUS and IMMORTAL session guitarist Ronny Hovland (a.k.a. 'Ares). The band employs a raft of diverse instrumentation such as colascione, bouzouki, lute, hurdy gurdy, harp, bagpipes, flute, mandolin and reed instruments.
