Biography

Death Metal band ARSEBREED, comprising members of such extreme acts as DISAVOWED, vocalist Robbert Kok (a.k.a. Robbe K) and guitarist Daniel van der Broek, PYAEMIA and NOCTURNAL SILENCE, singer Joey Sta, ex-LENG TCH'E bassist Frank 'Rizzo' Stijnen, and MANGLED, drummer Floris de Jonge (a.k.a. Emiel Ploeg) plus lead guitarist Mark 'Pranger' Wormmeester, also of PYAEMIA. The group, hailing from Den Helder, is rooted in the 2000 formation BLOODCUM, which delivered the April 2001 demo 'Arsestabbers', evolving into ARSEBREED during 2005. Originally Ron Van Coevorden held down vocal duties. Ploeg soon exited to prioritise MANGLED and Dirk Janssen, of German acts FUNERAL PROCESSION, INGURGITATING OBLIVION and DESPONDENCY, filled in on a temporary basis for live dates. Ultimately the band drafted Romain Goulon, a veteran of IMPERIAL SODOMY, KAOTEON, DISAVOWED and AGRESSOR, in January 2006.

The band cut a debut album, 'Munching The Rotten', for October 2005 release through Neurotic Records. Song titles such as 'Chopped In Excrements', 'Stabbed In The Arse' and 'Bloody Posttraumatic Ejaculation' left no doubt as to the band's fondness for the extreme.
