Hamilton's 8FORTY8 had the track 'Out Of Mind' included on 'Axe Attack' DJ Paul Martin's 2004 compilation album 'New Zealand Metal Volume 1'. Band members also operate LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE and DREAM THEATER tribute bands. In July 2008 guitarist Simon Koretz and drummer Nathan Koretz featured in the live band for DEEP PURPLE star GLENN HUGHES' performance at the G-TARanaki Guitar festival in New Plymouth.
