Biography

A somewhat anonymous Eindhoven based Electro-Stoner act, 35007 do not credit individual musicians on their album covers. Initially entitled LOOSE, the group subsequently adopted the Alabama zip code as their moniker. 35007's formative line-up comprised vocalist Eeuwout Baart, keyboard player Mark Sponselee, guitarist Bertus Fridael, drummer Jacco Van Rooij, bassist Michel Boekhoudt, Luk "Luck" Sponselee, credited as VJ to add visual enhancement to the band's "Cosmic groove", and Pidah Kloos, as sound engineer.

Main spokeman for the band Michel Boukhoudt also operated with the ALABAMA KIDS. Drummer Jacco van Roij was also an ALABAMA KIDS man as well as citing credits with 7 ZUMA 7. Debuting in 1994 with the 'Especially For You' album on Lazy Eye Records, 35007 immediately staked their own ground by blending mammoth riffs with trance inducing electronica.

The group's second eponymous album was released on October 14th 1997 to celebrate the anniversary of Chuck Yeager's successful attempt at breaking the sound barrier. A 10" vinyl single was cut for the Man's Ruin label, after which drummer Sander Evers was enrolled, replacing Jacco van Roy. Stickman Records re-issued 'Especially For You' in 1999 with a revised track list.

In 2001 Eeuwout Baart left and the band and 35007 persevered and the resulting instrumental 'Liquid' 2002 album comprised just 4 voluminous tracks.

35007 issued the 'Phase V' album in 2005 on the Stickman label before going into hiatus.

Drummer Jacco van Rooij joined Norwegian rockers MOTORPSYCHO in early 2006.
