OPHIDIAN is a female fronted Metal band founded by erstwhile members of a diverse range of acts SERENITY, TWEED and CAREFREE. The 2002 line-up comprised singer 'Cassy Wire' (a.k.a. Caroline Clement), guitarist 'Chris Beers' (Chris Schmit), bassist 'Ultimax Fernor' (Max Frantzen) and drummer 'Maxx Styxx' (Max Sauber). OPHIDIAN inducted Sven Sauber of FEANTURIE as second guitarist in April 2004 and Philip of BLISS, CORRXION and RAIN IN JULY took over the bass role in June.
