VOID OF SILENCE

Biography

VOID OF SILENCE specialise in morose, ambient Doom music. The duo of keyboard player and drummer Riccardo Conforti, also a member of SYRION and erstwhile drummer for OBLIVION, and guitarist / bassist Ivan Zara, ex-OBLIVION and MYSTICAL REALMS, convened the project during November of 1999.

Working on the EP 'Toward The Dusk' VOID OF SILENCE introduced ABORYM and FUNERAL ORATION bass player Malfeitor Fabban, acting as lead vocalist. After release of the February 2002 'Criteria Ov 666' album for the Code 666 label Conforti would session on recordings for an EPHEL DUATH album 'The Painter's Pallette'.

The band parted ways with vocalist Malfeitor Fabban during the summer of 2002, his replacement surprisingly being swiftly announced as Alan Nemtheanga from the cult Irish band PRIMORDIAL. VOID OF SILENCE donated the exclusive tracks 'The Undead Overture' and 'Undead Manifesto' to the Code666 compilation album 'Better Undead Than Alive'. A new studio album, 'Human Antithesis', would be recorded at the Sick Lab's Studios in Rome.
