BRAINDAMAGE

Biography

Formed in 1988, this Italian band released their debut demo, 'Kingdom Of Madness', a year later that opened the door for them to play at the German 'Support The Underground Thrash' Festival in Ludwigsburg's Rockfabrik. The following year the mini album 'The Weakness Of My Nerves', produced by KILLING JOKE guitarist Geordie Walker, appeared, although the group became dissatisfied with the direction they were heading in and were quick to change tack. Touring in Europe to promote the single 'Watching The Bleeding Mouth' had the band supporting KILLING JOKE and LOUD.

In 1991 BRAINDAMAGE opened for KILLING CULTURE in Europe and engaged top producer Steve Albini to work on their first, full-length album 'Signal De Revolta'. 1996's follow up 'The Turning Point' included a cover version of BLUE OYSTER CULT's 'Flaming Telepaths'.
