SAVIOR FROM ANGER is a Heavy Metal project of Naples born LANDGUARD and NAMELESS CRIME guitar player Marco Ruggiero. A 2006 demo, entitled 'No Way Out', featured musicians Alessandro Granato on vocals, bassist Riccardo Ponzi and drummer Stuart Franzoni. The band also had three live track included on the 'Heavy Naples Live' compilation alongside MARSHALL, GORGEOUS and SPLEEN through PMP Productions.

During 2007 a trio of ABSINTHIUM personnel, bassist Dario Nuzzolo, also of VALIANCE repurte, guitarist Franco Buonocore and drummer Tommaso Ruberti, all sessioned live for SAVIOR FROM ANGER. Also appearing onstage with the band as session players that year would be MIND KEY bassist Raffaele Castaldo, MARSHALL drummer Lino Mazzola, singer Bruno Masulli, of ANNIHILATIONMANCER and POWER BEYOND, and drummer Michele Coppola, from ENTROPY. SAVIOR FROM ANGER featured on the 'XIV Agglutinnation' festival, sharing the stage with DARK TRANQUILLITY, DISMEMBER and VISION DIVINE. The group also found inclusion on the resulting DVD issued by Gerardo Cafaro Productions.

Live onstage guests in 2008 included guitarists Fabio Calluori, of HEIMDALL, and Riccardo Napoli, from LOADSTAR and HELL'S, plus MARSHALL bassist Ly Holestone.

Germany's Rock It Up label issued the album 'Lost In The Darkness' in December 2008. The studio band for this effort involved Ruggiero, singer Alessandro Granato, bassist Antonio Di Costanzo with Michele Coppola on drums. Additional bass was supplied by Fabrizio Santalucia and drums from Stuart Franzoni.
