Naples born guitarist Marco Sfogli first came to international attention as a featured guest on DREAM THEATER vocalist JAMES LABRIE's third solo album, 2005's 'Elements Of Persuasion'. He was subsequently highlighted on the September 2007 album by JORDAN RUDESS, 'The Road Home' on a cover version of the GENESIS track 'Dance On A Volcano'. That same year Sfogli sessioned on ALEX ARGENTO's 'Ego' and JOHN MACALUSO AND UNION RADIO's 'Radio Waves Goodbye'.

As a solo artist, Marco Sfogli contracted with Finnish label Lion Music for the February 2008 debut album 'There's Hope'. Studio musicians included Andrea Casali and Dino Fiorenza, of MYSTURA and NOWHERE, on bass, keyboard players Emanuele Casali, Alex Argento, Matt Guillory, of MULLMUZZLER and DALI'S DILEMMA, and Fabio Tommasone plus drummers Salvyo Maiello, Ennio Giannone, John Macaluso and Raffaele Natale.
