Ancona based INFERNAL POETRY began life in 1996 under the band name NECRONOMICON. Under this former title the 1996 demo tape 'Under the Gothic Cathedral' was released. As INFERNAL POETRY they would debut the following year with a three track cassette dubbed 'In The Sign Of The Evil Creature'. The band gained a valuable support slot to IMPIETY for a lengthy string of European shows in late 2000 after which they duly signed to Fuel Records for the January 2002 opus 'No Light But Rather Visible Darkness'. During 2002 the band shared an EP entitled 'Twice' with DARK LUNACY. The band employed Alessandro Vagnoni on drums for live work in 2004.
