Genoa Nu-Thrash act ZØRN evolved during 1995 from an antecedent act billed POGROM. The band issued an opening demo, 'Trema', in 1998 and followed with a five song demo recording during 2001, recorded by NECRODEATH and CADAVERIA bass player John.

ZØRN guitarist López united with SADIST singer Zanna, flamenco guitarist Paco, NECRODEATH bassist John, billed as 'El Sargento', and drummer Peso to forge "Flamenco Metal" side project RAZA DE ODIO in 2002. Signing to Scarlet Records this outfit issued the 'La Nueva Alarma' debut in October of 2004.
