Biography
Icelandic Alt-Rock band THE SUGARCUBES were formed in 1986 and disbanded in 1992. During their career they received heady praise but never quite broke into the mainstream. However, enigmatic lead singer Björk Guðmundsdóttir, simply known as BJÖRK, subsequently achieved massive commercial success on an international scale with her innovative solo work.
