FROZEN SUN feature former THRENODY drummer Richard van Leeuwen and DONOR guitarist Jelle Bakker. The band's first demo was issued in August 1995 and was followed by support slots to TIAMAT, LIFE OF AGONY and FEAR FACTORY locally. Following the release of a second demo the group toured Holland with THE GATHERING and, in 1996, finally released their debut album 'Unspoken'.

Playing Neo Thrash with Industrial, Funk and Hardcore influences, a career highlight would be a spot on the bill of 1996's 'Dynamo Festival' and supporting ALIEN ANT FARM in North America. During the Autumn of 2001 guitarist Jelle Bakker would join high profile Gothic act WITHIN TEMPTATION.

During the Autumn of 2002 a triumvirate of former FROZEN SUN members re-emerged touting a brand new Metal cum Crossover Hip Hop act billed as CHEN MO. Joining guitarist Jelle Bakker, bassist Yuenl Ee and drummer Richard van Leeuwen for this new venture would be Rotterdam's DJ Fader, former CURFEW vocalist Björn Chazz De Water and erstwhile RIPTIDE and BLOOD SESSIONS guitarists Ramon Sebastiën.
