In early 2005 it was revealed that the SEPTIC FLESH trio of vocalist / bassist Spiros Antoniou ('Set<'H>'), guitarist Chris Antoniou and drummer Fotis Bernardo had forged a new venture billed as THE DEVILWORX. Chris Antoniou also holds credits with CHAOSTAR whilst Bernardo has an affiliation with NIGHTRAGE.

Initial demo tracks, 'Wrath' and 'Sloth', were made available for download in March. THE DEVILWORX notably supported SLIPKNOT for their first Greek show on 30th May at the Athens Lycabettus Theatre.
