Formed in 1983, the band somewhat predictably signed with Noise Records and released an EP called 'First Strike'.  It was quickly followed by the full-length debut 'The Enforcer' which had reasonable exposure and distribution in North America. In the Thrash explosion of the mid eighties WARRANT were somewhat out of vogue with their more traditionally inclined Metal. WARRANT supported WARLOCK on their 1985 German tour. The band didn't last long however. 

Vocalist Jurg Juraschek and guitarist Oliver May later formed PUNCHLINE. Weiners formed MONROXE. The album was reissued on CD in 1999 with the debut EP as bonus tracks.  The band still appears at the occasional European festival but have no formal plans to record new material.
