Tom Angelripper is better known as the leader of German outfit SODOM. His solo work involve songs based mainly around the subject of drinking and are all sung in his native tongue. For the 1998 album Alex Kraft supplied secondary guitars whilst drums were handled by Bobby 'Doppelbob'.

The 2000 album was credited to ONKEL TOM ANGELRIPPER. A European headline tour in April of 2002, dubbed as the 'Wacken Open Air Roadshow', found AMON AMARTH and MOB RULES as support.
