Biography

Much vaunted combination of Germany's Melodic Rock elite. THE SYGNET was fronted by JÜRGEN BLACKMORE, LETTER X and JADED HEART singer Michael Bormann and included former WILD AXIS, SHORTINO and SINNER guitarist Alex Beyroth alongside the MENDACIOUS MESSIAH and VANIZE credited André Hilgers on the drums. JADED HEART bassist Michael Müller also contributes.

Early 2005 found Michael Müller, still active with JADED HEART, sessioning for FARO. André Hilgers joined RAGE in late 2006. In March 2007 Bormann enrolled himself into Swedish act BLOODBOUND.

In September 2008 AFM Records announced the signing of guitarist Alex Beyrodt's latest band project VOODOO CIRCLE. He would be joined on the eponymous album by singer David Readman, of PINK CREAM 69, bassist Mat Sinner, of SINNER and PRIMAL FEAR, drummer Mel Gaynor, citing credits with SIMPLE MINDS, GARY MOORE, BRIAN MAY and SAMSON plus keyboard player Jimmy Kresic.
