Biography

Crossover outfit SUN saw bassist Holger Seelig in the original line up as the group scored a deal with G.U.N. Records. Having released the 'Murdernature' debut album earlier in the year, 1992's 'Eat' EP included an ambitious cover of PINK FLOYD's 'Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun'. Further covers came via 1993's 'Jam House Wah' set, with versions of JIMI HENDRIX's 'Spanish Castle Magic' and BOB DYLAN's 'Like A Rolling Stone'.

Since the 1994 'XXX' album, Kurt Schmidt has provided bass and amongst the group's achievements SUN have the distinction of opening for PEARL JAM on one of the Seattle outfit's treks in Germany.
