Biography

Hard Rock act THE COMPANY, an US-German affiliation based in Andernach, Rhineland-Palatinate and forged during 1994, comprised the ENFORCE and AUGERY credited vocalist Guido Krämer, guitarist Doug Piercy, former VAMP and WEIRD KONG bassist Ingo Farrano with Thomas Schomisch on the drums. The latter would be superseded by Peter 'LaLa' Adamowicz, his predecessor going on to work with DECAYIN' and HATEDRIVE. Piercy, having a tradition with such acts as ANGEL WITCH and pioneering Bay Area Thrash Metal bands COBRA, DELTA, CONTROL, ANVIL CHORUS and HEATHEN, had relocated to Germany in order to build a new band unit.

Japanese imprint Teichiku Records put out the first, eponymous, album in 1996. This set included the T REX cover version 'Children Of The Revolution'. A second album, entitled 'Frozen By Heat', emerged in Europe through the High Gain label in 1997, proving particularly successful in Japan and, strangely, Cuba.THE COMPANY's sophomore effort was produced by Dirk Ulrich and GRAVE DIGGER's Chris Boltendahl, who also contributed guest vocals to the tracks 'Animal Farm' and 'Lies Of Life'.

THE COMPANY, minus both Krämer and Piercy, evolved to include a twin guitar team of Hamid Haghgu and Markus Rhodmann plus Axel Nothen of DROWN INC. as new frontman. The System Shock label released a further album, 'Awaking Under Dogs' recorded, mixed and mastered by ex-VAMP guitarist Rigolf Cross, in 2002. The record featured a novel cover version of DEAD OR ALIVE's 'You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)'. However, THE COMPANY then fell apart. By coincidence Peter Adamowicz would replace Thomas Schomisch once again in DECAYIN'.
